It's a girl thing

The Boyfriend thinks I'm returning to my childhood because instead of buying a practical, grown up make up bag, I bought a Hello Kitty make up bag.

Why did I buy it? Good question. In fact The Boyfriend asked me the same thing. And I'll tell you what I told him.

Because it is sooo cute.

He gave me the look. There might have even been a shake of the head and the hint of a raised eyebrow.

*sigh*

I can't help it if he doesn't understand the 'cute'.
It's a girl thing - whatever age we are.

Anyway, this little one is the one I bought to throw in my bag as I dash out the door.


And this larger version is the one I'm quietly lusting after, even though I don't need a larger make up bag.


And if The Boyfriend asks why am I lusting after it, I'll just have to tell him the truth.

Because it's sooo cute! :P

    I can't lie, I love me some Hello Kitty, even at the age of 28.

    My husband chuckles about it, but if I could, I'd buy a hot pink car with a Hello Kitty face ;)

    I think I can get away with small Hello Kitty items like these make up bags, without raising too many eyebrows.

    But as for a pink Hello Kitty car... (as much fun as it sounds) I don't think my other half would be too impressed with that. :P
